It's Been a Fun Ride

All my life I've been grinding just to fall on my face Too much on it, the shit starts to fall off my plate I don't need you whack motherfuckers all on my case Lately I've been spending almost every dollar I make On promotion, I write my shit with such devotion So I can be ignored, I feel my seams busting open So maybe I should quit, cause lately I'm just sick Of working fingers to the bone to fail like eighty times again, f*ck! It's been a fun ride but I'm done now And my patience has officially run out Why do you do that? You look at me with such doubt I'm in my head thinking way too much now Overthinking, there's way too many thoughts in here Too many voices, so my own voice ain't awful clear Anxiety throughout my body, got a lot of fears I pray and sob at night, really hoping that God can hear Cause if he can't then what's the point to praying? If there's a hell I'm going there for all the choices I'm making Not good with people, I'm avoiding faces And I get really, really nervous when I'm in noisy places It's been a fun ride but I'm done now And my patience has officially run out Why do you do that?
