Floating in the tepid, fluid drip (A god) The necessity of reason that you defend (A god) Without a foothold you find yourself Swallowed alive by a darkness You'll never comprehend (A reflection) Look into the vacuum and perceive Ah Voracious beast Hungrily baying at my feet Uh Unfeeling flesh That slips with ease Through the solar wind That drip sent through a Dying planet IV And I knew in that instant A thought swayed On the cusp of an action As a child, neglected I felt the disdain from the chasm echo so impassive My refracted and earthly scope Overwhelming need to wash away Anxious, my misplaced hopes That Feed this chilling cold That I now know In this life, my Kingdom of night A brash wave of sickness, abound Akashic intelligence worming Its way to my psyche Dregs of misinformation Trace influence within my mind Formation of thoughts I unconsciously know aren't my own Cut back my lifeless body Spat up and withered Crippled upon this page Of a story, unending I remembered the feel of a cold blade Tossed to a flame I could hear a name Cold breath in a tongue Lost to the days Like a piece of glass pane Ripping through my veins "King of the great phase" Who's presence could render A beast tame A handle whose blade that severs In this life, my Kingdom of night A brash wave of sickness, abound Akashic intelligence worming Its way to my psyche Dregs of misinformation Trace influence within my mind Formation of thoughts I unconsciously know aren't my own
