Sometimes I be living in my memories ignoring The harsh reality of time speeding it keeps floorin It's in the right lane, zoomin down the freeway And I'm stuck in my brain reliving the good old days Before movin' so far away, without choosin' I couldn't stay I was losin' the fight to sway, the decision to move away So we moved interstate, I removed all the hate I grew peaceful in my stay, so it proved to be fate Sometimes I be wishing I wasn't able to seem em And it's crazy cause I miss moments more than I live them I start remembering all these people that I used to f*ck with Then I start remembering that those people are gone Every night alone with my own thoughts I'm thinking And the feeling that I get reminiscing it got me sinking In my own chair thinking Get Out Get Out Cause I'm getting real scared feeling I'm trapped in doubt I can't lie, I can't lie Sometimes I feel great hearin' the greatest tunes to date While reminiscing on dates, as soon as I'm pressin' play I know that I'm chasin' feelings down that made me feel great Then other times, man those other times I be feeling down thinkin' what could've been I'm thinkin What should've been, feel distraught I'm livin' in the past Thinkin' bout those times, I've been really tryin, but I keep Vividly, thinkin' of all the memories that mean most to me Like walkin' to the hill with my cousin to get groceries Like chillin' on the couch, PS3, gamin' infamously Like goin' to the temple to worship and see family Memories comin' to me from the days I moved to Melbourne From the weekly cinema sessions to the road trips with my cousins and I'm Feelin' the sun on my skin and it feels like I'm burnin I'm burnt in the summers and I'm Lovin' the feelin' I'm gettin' but don't wanna live in this state of a drummer Crazy cause I miss moments more than I live them Sometimes I feel great hearin' the greatest tunes to date
