Laying down to sleep I pray the lord my soul to keep I don't care about the fame or any of the change I'm just doing this shit for me I wear my heart up on a sleeve from these demons lord please protect me Wishing I could make things right hope the reaper doesn't take away my life tonight It's a battle of addiction feel like I might lose the fight Loading up the nine I'm gripping it tight I'm making sure it's locked and loaded because they wanna take my life Only a matter of time I know eventually I'm gonna die but tonight won't be the night no I'm not going down without a fight Cuts all over my arms and wrists and bruises on my ribs I feel like I've done paid my price I cannot bare the pain it's driving me insane but I gotta keep going strong I know in the end it will all be worth it Tired of being called worthless those insults have left me questioning my purpose but I do know one thing I was put onto this earth to conquer Got it out the mud no handouts no shortcuts cold hearted motherfucker that was never shown show love I done got played so many times So I know if your just lying to me or if you really down to ride If you really down to slide I can tell if you want me dead under the Texas soil six feet deep I can tell if you wanna see me shine Never play about mines There's a black hole in my chest I'm so stressed I try to fill the void with drugs and sex but it sends me into a spiraling depression Yeah I like to be alone not to feel alone Don't know how much more that I can withstand Yeah my soul is in high demand by the man you call death People want me to tell them just how I'm feeling but they won't ever truly understand Nothing inside of my chest to give I got nothing left Uh, nothing inside of my chest to give I got nothing left Overdose shit I'll be damned Yeah I wake up everyday to the same shit Pop the seal open swallow down some pills some say I do it for the thrill but I really just pop just for the way it makes me feel Makes me forget just who I am as I'm trying to heal From the damage that I've taken but it doesn't seem to work Taking more damage by the day Yeah my body just starts aching and eventually goes numb might do this shit again
