When the waves come crashing down and I'm completely surrounded With a pain so deep I can feel it in sleep And I think of the idea of being at peace When the tide comes creeping in and knocks me off my feet Do you see me Do you feel the way I feel Can you hear me Can you help me see what's real When the current drags me down and I just flounder around And it's hard to breathe, my lungs are failing me And I do all sorts of things to rediscover me And I finally find myself falling upon my knees.
