Hands on the clock on the wall spin incessantly Time flies on by moving forward with or without me Things are ever changing but everything's the same That swing on the porch as a child seemed like a punishment Now that I'm grown, I'd give it all to go back there again You think you know how life works but that's not true The way that the years multiply still surprises me It feels like yesterday when the ground fell from beneath my feet Wonder how the world looks from your point of view
