Dissatisfaction

I step up to go and present myself With the whole world watching My eyes feel heavy but I gotta get ready To show them what I got I'll eat every punch and keep standing up Cause rest can wait for later I got a show to put on There's people that count on me I just gave a warning of what's to come I've heightened their expectations What if I don't deliver? Don't keep my promise? Will they hate me? Stop listening? Gotta pick myself up and try my best Cause no matter what comes next I know I said what I said Can't ever take it back I don't want to disappoint Leave them with dissatisfaction I crave for a visible reaction I'll give my all they expect it Maybe it's me that expects it There's really no time to think it I've never seen myself as a servant But I'm certain that I care what they think How did I put myself in this position? Why do I want to be in their vision? I seek their attention, their approval Cause it proves to me that I'm worth it Can't depend on my opinion It's not capable of judgment I try to step away from the spotlight But I keep pushing myself back I'm selfish, I'm just a masochist Not so selfless after all I don't want to disappoint Leave them with dissatisfaction I crave for a visible reaction I'll give my all they expect it Maybe it's me that expects it There's really no time to think it I'm giving away my attention But so do all type two's right?
