Basic Ukulele Song

Alright, welcome to my first own release And I know what y’all are thinking “Another basic bitch with a ukulele” But… listen I’m too scared to put out my beats Because I’m scared of what the world will think And I wish I could put out everything But I’ve got this thing called anxiety So I settled down for a basic song Where I play the ukulele and sing along And I’m kinda shy with music so lets start it small Like lemme just introduce myself to y’all My name is Anna, but I try to sing as "Kaede" And there’s a reason, but I’ll explain another day I just have a lot of parts that make up my identity I’m unapologetic about who I am Bisexual, Bipolar, Japanese-American And you bet I’ll sing about all that shit So if you don’t like who I am then get away from my music I wish I had the confidence to put out more music I wish I liked my voice as much as I like myself And I’m sure some day I’ll put a better song When I’m feeling a bit more strong I’ll let my colors show when I’m ready to go But this is a start for now I guess I’m a basic bitch for the time being But I swear it’s not ‘cause I can’t think of anything It’s just ‘cause I am such a big baby One day I’ll have more than ukulele I wish I had the confidence to put out more songs I hope this is the start for many more to come
