Gray

I used to have colors like the sky They could light up any day Nothing too far, no mountain too high I always found a way Yeah my best was enough to get me through the day Oh, but I don't know why, my colors started to fade I remember my father told me "Son you're not looking so well" "The flowers stopped calling your name on the back of the wind of the valley smell" "And I can see it in your eyes that this ain't the real you "So just take a little time, but come back, I miss you" He said "You used to shine bright with the colors of the rainbow" "Never lookin back 'cause you said the world was too slow" "And you'd always dream to change the world someday" "But now you're just gray" Now I feel chained and lost in life, and I swear I'm in too deep Oh I'm just so tired all the time, no matter how much I sleep Now my best ain't enough, so why do I even try?
