Advice From Dad! (Intro!)

Hey son listen As you continue to move like through this life And try to come to grips with the direction that you're going to take I need you to remember a few things The first thing is to stay true to you always Always be true to you You have this gift and the gift that you got ain't like the gift that anybody else got It's up to you to understand that gift and how to use it to help other people Everybody wont understand your journey And from time to time you're going to have some people come and try to box you in And place their vision of what they want to see for you Sometimes it's out of love and concern other times it might be out of envy Either way it's up to you to use your power of discernment to try to figure out which one is which I remember when we were younger like like you were like six or seven And we were walking And somebody stopped us in the aisle at the grocery store and they looked at you like That young man that young man there's destined for greatness! And it was flattering at the time but it stuck with me for a minute and I couldn't wrap my head around that idea like Like how can anyone walk towards something that's already like within us Greatness is not a destination greatness is what fuels a man's purpose We are made in God's image and all you need is already been packaged within you So with that said son keep grounded keep the faith keep your head up keep your circle tight Nipsey Hussle said it best don't look at your circle and get inspired You ain't got no circle you got a KAGE!
