Where Will I End Up?

Which side of the tide will I end up on Will I be on the side without any problem Can I just stay at one place at one time Instead of moving all over the town Why won't my head just remain in one place Why must I always feel so disgraced And I think that I could be on the happy side The sun, the water, the flowers, the river, the moon and Everything that makes me feel like I am In the place I wanna be where I can just feel free And I can be without Which side of this tide will I end up on Will I be consumed by my mind Or can I learn to stay on the sunny side of town With the birds and the trees and the water, the hills, the mountains Yeah yeah yeah I know what I want to do But why must my mind always complicate the things that make it Feel so blue I don't know where I am or where I will go Sometimes I'm afraid of the outcome of my future Because, I can't really control which side that I'm on Will I end up on the sun or the darkness The devil or the angel Oh there's only one side to choose from I know that I have so much love inside me Oh why can't I stay on this side of the town Oh why must I always quiver and reach to the other side Why must it always turn out this way I try to fight my own little brain Let's see if we can end up on the same lane Where the people are friendly They don't just wanna take my energy They don't just play with my feelings They don't just think that I am some demon They see the sun inside of me They know which side that I am on Why must I always move from one side to the other I wanna be with the sun and the river and the birds and the clouds The sun, the river and the birds and the clouds
