In the middle of night when you're asleep in your bed Everyone at Monsta Skool is wide awake instead Rushing around and getting ready to go SPOOKING all the children in the village below There's Michelle the Mummy and Gail the Ghost Little Count Backwards is eating his toast Wee Willy Werewolf and a zombie called Keith But where's the little skeleton? - he's fast asleep You gotta wake up Lazybones Time to get up and get in the zone You miss so much - asleep all the time So wake up Lazybones - rise and shine So Lazybones wakes up and follows the crew They go down town with lots of haunting to do Hiding in closets and squeezing under beds Making strange noises that mess with your head The monsters go from house to house scaring all the kids Then meet on the street and share what they did They have to be back at school by half past two Everyone is there except - do you know who So back into the houses the little monsters creep Looking for their friend, who's fallen asleep But the kids are waiting - and they yell out BOO The little monsters get a fright and you would too They all run screaming out into the fog Lazybones runs past, chased by a dog But he's getting tired and lays down for a nap So his friends all scoop him up and carry him back Wake up Lazybones - rise and shine Wake up Lazybones - rise and shine Wake up Lazybones - rise and shine Wake up Lazybones - it's time to shine
