The days get long a little late for my taste Need a few hours to let my thoughts out the gate Let them run wild I've been cooped up as of late I try to force change but I can't shift the cosmos I found a secret glade of hope that only I know But the door only opens when the sun shows Find me there around your bend And I won't try and pretend That I know better than you Let me know when it's going end And I won't try and pretend That I know any of the rules When the sun drops slow I find a sense of calmness And the seeds I sowed begin to grow, they're boundless Our roots hold strong so we grow wild while grounded And when the night wind's warm I feel myself floating And your slight spring smile makes me forget commotions That waste my time while I could be exploring Find me there around your bend And I won't try and pretend That I know better than you Let me know when it's going end And I won't try and pretend That I know any of the rules
