My mind is leaving its mortal shell Along an unknown path I dwell Like there's an edge, I'm falling off I can see myself from above My eyes have opened, now I can see I was a grain of sand floating in the sea Returning to the beach I once came from The realm of souls is where I belong Ascend - to an unknown dimension Begin - to comprehend comprehension Anew - I see the world as a whole Beyond - I walk the path of the souls Under water but I can breathe Emerging from the dark beneath Floating up into the light I feel no angst, no fear, no fright Just endless happiness instead I feel home outside my head Surrounded by eternal love Wondering what's still above Ascend - to an unknown dimension Begin - to comprehend comprehension Anew - I see the world as a whole Beyond - I walk the path of the souls The tunnel before me, a light at the end My legs, they start walking without my consent Surrounded by brightness, the tunnel is gone And with it am I, the end now shall come I see a bridge that's connecting two sides Tempting to cross but I know deep inside I have to go back beneath and fight For my final breath is not yet in sight Descend - back to our dimension Begin - to lose comprehension Again - I see the world as divided My fate - it has not yet been decided I will return when my time has come To this place where dark and light become one Where death and life are close together The thread connecting them now and forever Forever!
