From Above

Here we are Breathing dust, abandoned, broken United in pain and death Together alone, no one heard us mourn Suppressed by the thunder of guns We lament our fallen sons And everything that we have known Was engulfed and torn down below Lift me up, away Take me dead or alive Above all kind of strife Where peace finally lays Behind all grief and war The sea of tears dries out I have no single doubt That man will fight evermore Will fight evermore!
