I stroll every morning past the centre of town To where the road slightly narrows, a block or two down And I walk up the pathway to where we used to go And I stand in the meadow where the wildflowers grow In the warmth of the springtime; in late April or May I can sit there for hours; let the memories play And I know come December as the winter winds blow I'll think of the times we had, where the wildflowers grow They last forever; all those memories I close my eyes and I hold you.
