Haven't been out hiking in about 6 months Since my sister told me a story of hikers being attacked Biking's popular in Tucson but I've never gone On a ride 'cause I'm scared I'll get run over And if you're sensing a theme Then I think you be On the right track But the scariest thing Is that the scariest thing Isn't that It's texting you back It's getting attached It's that you wouldn't like my family Or the way that I'm living Or how quirky I really am It's texting you back Texting you back Haven't held somebody's hand in about 2 years And the last guy that I did I never really liked I was so preoccupied with what he saw I didn't know what I saw in him And if you're thinking that I could go blaming it on my parents For 40 years and counting they've been laughing in the kitchen So the scariest thing is that the scariest thing isn't that It's texting you back It's getting attached It's that you wouldn't like my family Or the way that I'm living Or how quirky I really am It's texting you back Texting you back And it's all something that I'm working through Don't have the answers but I don't have to To text you back What's wrong with getting attached And if you didn't like my family Or the way that I'm living Or how quirky I really am I'm texting you back Texting you back Texting you back
