Eulogy

I never said I want to survive So don't bother reading my last rites Crawling up the wall Just to breathe another day One to take the risk Two to play it safe And I thought I stood a chance Cuz I'm already in hell But you buried me so fucking deep I just can't tell You wrote my eulogy the day we met But you haven't killed me yet Your victim complex rides on a thin line Where there used to be a great divide But I've seen the other side and there is nowhere to hide Keep the dirt piled up This hole wasn't deep enough Old values to the wind This coffins caving in Bad habits held on tight Don't blink, it's passing you by The dirt is pouring in I'm slowly suffocating Your smile deceived me And your eyes will keep me My heart hasn't been this still Since the day we met I guess some things are meant to be Oh, what a way to go Painful and slow Dig me up Hang me high Bleed me dry Make your prize My demise Take the right to life away
