Underneath the canopy The forest floor is welcoming Just you and me, resting by a tree And now we head into the forest Feeling just right at home The fireflies are dancing Think they're putting on a show Music's in the air Cause the chickadees are whistling Bumble bees are kissing Purple flowers in the distance Yikes down below Something's pushing up the moss Oh gosh it's just a cute little gopher Now it's rolling over I plan to hang my hammock From the branches of this tree Swaying in wind back and forth Twirling like the leaves Moments like this Are twice as great When we're side by side all day In the forest Underneath the canopy The forest floor is welcoming Just you and me, resting by a tree I look at you You look at me The sparkle in your eyes tells me You are just right where you want to be In the forest It's time to go back home Even though, home is right here Contemplating all the beauty in the trees I see dragonflies, bumble bees What a bliss, the scenery The forest will always be right here If you respect it Underneath the canopy The forest floor is welcoming Just you and me resting by a tree I look at you You look at me The sparkle in your eyes tells me You're just right where you wanna be In the forest Underneath the canopy The forest floor is welcoming I look at you You look at me The sparkle in your eyes tells me You're just right where you wanna be In the forest
