This is how it starts From seed to flower It's kinda like an art Mother nature's power It starts from a seed and out comes a sprout Then comes the leaves Sunlight now, please Down beneath the soil The roots come out to dance They intertwine They take their time It's water that makes them thrive They're friends with the bees They help us breathe, let's keep them alive They're part of the team Cactus and daisies, lavender and lilies I hear leaves in the breeze Can't forget trees Sunflowers and cucumbers, a sage bush and lots of ferns, daffodils, banana peels Huh? I guess I went out on a limb for that one Down beneath the willow tree We rest onto the grass "Won't we squish them?
