Perched upon ancient mountain ridge Lonesome castle, illumined by the moon's rays A great skull balanced atop a withering skeleton Destitute its surroundings, bleak its visage Those within, enclosed in cadaverous bosom All without, receding in decay Its denouement - utter ruin Its apotheosis - destruction In a lighting flash of transformation It slides, slides into the tarn beneath Falls, falls into the darkness below A predestined demise, a smothering gloom
