I've always rolled like a loner Been guided by the wind Running from the fading light And repentance for the sin Oh, the unfathomable mind Needs salvation from the skin Sometimes I've been searching for a home now Just somewhere I fit in This time I've heard a call Come from someone else's lips Every second I'm uncovered And revived by her kiss and now I'm feeling like I've got something to lose Lose myself And find everything else We have been fooled Can't tell if we're the ocean or the well I have been bruised Through hell But seen heaven as well It can be cruel to dwell On that place which I fell What felt like a falling from grace Was freedom from the chains Of everything that I knew I accept that from womb to the grave Everything is change And always I'm becoming new Feel no fear when it all happens so perfectly It is always his will And yet it's me Who had to make that trip alone Out through the reeds And the past the horizon of what's known And in my grief I learn the language of the soul I'm just a piece Returning from the many to the whole There is no you There is no me Just endless variations on the spaces in between There is no future There is no past Just moment after moment on the never-ending path Feel no fear when it all happens so perfectly It is always his will
