Departed

Darkness over takes my soul and brain as I lay in bed Now I can feel myself drifting to the world that is far below, that no one knows about Up behind me lurking is a force of evil Creeping unto me with purpose of harm, intending to make me do its evil deeds I feel my senses fading, I'm blacking out once again I pray that God save me from myself, especially when I am alone I got a lotta bad habits and dark vices that I live with In addition to demonic entities surrounding me as I am sleeping Got me tossing, turning in my bed Wake up in the night, my body covered in cold sweat The room is cold as if wind is blowing from inside of it Even though the glass is shut, still I can hear its haunting whistles Whispers could be heard from within the darkness Sit up and I curl from the fear I feel, and so then I pray to God that I am delivered to salvation protected from all forces of evil Holding tight my bed stand, grip of death I can't believe it Close my eyes and squirm until the hallucinations fade away I seen lotta shadow men surrounding me And heard noises that from I couldn't breath Last night I thought I was boutta meet my death And that I would eternally suffer My whole life flashed in front of my eyes And boy I could see everything that was wrong with me But it was too late to self reflect To late to repent for the sins I've commit Jolted from the shock Sitting up in my bed awake Thinking about what I just saw As cold wind brush against my face I ruined my life with my own hands I believe Stuck in a recurring cycle of self destructive behavior Praying to God for help, as he is indeed my only savior I lost my way, and all that I'm surrounded by is darkness Wish I could roll up all of my problems in a blunt and smoke it till it's all burnt And next it won't even exist in real life
