Velociraptor

Like a modern Bird of prey Feathered And clawed Velociraptor You think you know me From a movie But, I hunt alone I'm not all scaly And I just use my claws To clutch what I'm eating I have a wishbone My ankles are hinged I can swivel my wrists I have forward-facing toes And, a long talon on each foot Means I could pin down prey Just like an eagle But, I could never fly I could never fly One day from now Way along the road I will evolve Into the birds you see above I'm a theropod A three-toed predator So many of my traits Are found in your modern day birds So, I like to think One day I will fly
