Rainy Day Reflection It’s raining again in my heart! See, the sky has grown so dark; the sun’s disappeared -- in its place only tears. Wish again and again they would part. Now and then, flash of light that is soon out of sight. And the rumbling thunder that tore all asunder; Then: lingering hiss in the night... And the rain it does pour as so often before. Winds of change rearrange all that once lay in store. With the dawn a new hope: No more darkness, no slope. No more deep desperation nor sobs, nor frustration. Found instead: new capacity to cope. At the first rays of sun, a new day has begun. Day has dawned, rain is gone; truly time to move on. Purest gold, palest glimmer’s been spun. It’s raining no more in my heart.
