The Dream

Last night I dreamt that I was driving too fast The car went over an edge It never came back The time in the air felt a year or more I wasn't there when it hit the ground I never had the time to stay I never took the time to pray I didn't stop to say the things you should I wasn't there when it hit the ground I ran faster through my days From early morning until late Trees turned green I didn't see it A summer's touch I didn't feel it Last night I dreamt that I was driving too fast The car went over an edge It never came back Now I'm gonna be around I'm gonna watch the evening sun
