In the beginning was the Word And the Word was with God And the word was God I give myself permission To be free I give myself permission to be Everything love invites me to be I give attention to the Parts of me That are afraid of being seen I choose to feel when I could Otherwise deny and disregard I speak life I choose compassion When I feel shame I allow love to have its way in me I trust the knowledge of My third eye I trust my gut I trust my heart I trust my path I trust my creativity I trust the wisdom of the spirit When in distress I allow myself to ask for And receive help I can rest knowing that I am protected by The angels and the ancestors God and the moon bear witness I am divine Inclined to shine I am love I am light I am Black Confidence intact God is big and I am invited to expand To travel many galaxies To remember that I am holy To remember that I am A few words made flesh In the beginning was the Word And the Word was with God The Word was God Trust God
