Nothing left to lose So why not try to make it right With the people I've forsaken long ago? All the things I've done They changed who I am inside I rewind my life, I will go home again I never felt right in this world But now I have learned so much more Back home they will see and know That now I finally feel whole The place I hated I never thought I'd come here But I've changed a lot, I will prove myself here Forever waiting For something I always had This is where I'll find my peace I know I made my fair share of mistakes But here I am Please forgive me where I stand And let me in I'm finally home But they don't look like they've missed me Never seen such a grim look on a face before I left with no doubt Maybe I shouldn't have I'm not sure I'll be let in To this place I hated I never thought I'd come here I have changed a lot, but they don't want to see Forever waited For something I always had But I think I wasted peace The people spoke I didn't have to listen Could've just pulled the trigger And put an end to it Oh, sparks will fly Not from burning passion But from the city To the sky Now I've gone blind The sun won't ever be let in Even though the doors within me Were opened up so wide I've had my chances I threw them all away Guess that you can only rely On yourself I have had it with myself, and anyone else I can leave, but will I find another place?
