Back Deck

I'm on the back deck contemplating life tryna figure things out I've never really had it figured out, why am I tryna start now? Everyone I love holds me accountable It's heavy cause I got myself a heart of gold And when it's done tickin' I hope that I've made em all proud Everywhere I go, I dream about comin' home It's the only place that takes me to my zone. I hear that morning dove, coffee cup, tying up a hook to my line Am I fishin for the answers or pretending that I got some free time I got some roaches I been savin' for a rainy day I roll em up and write something that resonates And it's like 95 Fahrenheit but I think I'm stayin' outside Everywhere I go, I dream about comin' home It's the only place that takes me to my zone. I just need some time alone, out on my patio Where I got everything I need to feed my soul I'm on the back deck contemplating life tryna figure things out Never really had it figured out, I'm not gonna start now.
