What comes to your mind when you watch the rain Do you think of life's pleasures Are you consumed by the pain I wonder who else has thoughts like mine If others are confused by the mystery of time And how it intertwines with space Am I even awake because this feels like a dream Sometimes a nightmare Something's growing inside, out from darkness into light Where it can feed on the vibes of the crowded night air Filled with sirens and sightless, lifeless-eye stares Who cares is what I really want to say But before you know it, I've been swept away by another tidal wave of anxiety And I'm hanging off the edge trying not to die yet Hoping for the best that this is just a test Watching these raindrop thoughts fall Watching these raindrop thoughts fall Watching these raindrop thoughts fall They're falling They keep falling I don't know why, but I just want to cry sometimes Because it's too hard to get over this anxious shit Watching the rain drip down the windows It's blurry outside beyond the pane where the wind blows Twisting into tornadoes of emotion turning Tearing homes apart then funneling back into the black sky Until I see a pink light Shining in the darkness of the night, and it ignites my third eye So I can finally feel the full spectrum of feelings And now I've learned that there is no ceiling to healing There is no ceiling to healing Watching these raindrop thoughts fall Watching these raindrop thoughts fall Watching these raindrop thoughts fall They're falling They keep falling
