I was born In fields of rubble and asphalt dust My left eye Is covered up with thunder clouds My mother Died before she could sing me her songs Slurring thoughts Is all I have in lieu of a tongue I have never truly been alive I have Never Felt the Embrace Of a World that Truly Wants me within it's walls No teeth To chew The morsels Which is all I have I curse Those who Make sure There's no safe place for me Fourteen years Of running away and hiding From the wrath Of people I have never seen What have I Done to deserve this I hope and pray That one day we will be free
