Tomorrow

My friends are awake although it's very late We are talking about a world that doesn't hate It's occurred to me we're not the only ones Who are wanting a world that could be Tomorrow is a day of our own I can't understand why there are so many plans To hurt the people, kill the people and their kids Are like ours, but with nuclear scars And there's a steeple where there used to be stars The other night inside a dream An angel came and said to me This life is meant for learning Love And god has no exclusive club So be kind You will find that to see through the eyes of another Is to realize your heart Can be wide and so can your mind If the real Love guides your somewhat real life Tomorrow is a day of our own Tomorrow is the world we want We can choose to use peace and understanding If we open our views up to other settings Tomorrow is a day of our own A little anthropology could save the world
