Here I Stay

Not a beautiful morning, tears in my eyes. My people are crying, feeling helpless and tired. My heart is aching and my hands are tied. Tell me, how to stay stronger in this endless fight? When the perished are lying in the ruins of homes and the children are dying, the emptiness comes. Here I stay, watching everything fade away, Hold my breath, close my eyes and I dream away To the Land with the freedom of choice. The people are standing beside one another, They're holding their hands and they're praying for those, who have gone, leaving too soon. One day we will bring all our forces together and help one another to rise after all we've been through. We're passing it too… We rebuild all the homes and the lands, and the dreams, and the hopes for the children to come to this world, to bring joy. Love and the peace is all we really need… Yet a beautiful morning, when I open my eyes. Life goes on and I smile, but in heart there's a scar. Here I stay, watching everything rise again. Hold my breath, pray that war never comes to this Land anymore.
