I'll be hitting that road to Dungarvan On the path where there used to be a train I'll be hitting that road to Dungarvan I'm going to see my baby again They closed the train to Dungarvan Brides left to twist and grow Which closed up the valley by the river A passage gone quiet and alone Instrumental Then they opened up the path to Dungarvan They even restored the train It starts at Kilmeaden station An open carriage town-bound lane So now I'm on my bike on the greenway Taken in the air and the scene I'll be hitting that path to Dungarvan Off to see my baby again Instrumental I've been taking that train to Dungarvan But I'm stopping at Kilmeaden Then I'm on my bike to Dungarvan Off to see my baby again
