They're Trying to Sell My Books

I don't wanna leave town Wonder why I like it Well I haven't got Any other place to be And here Well it's not that bad And I can pass the phone around If it's nobody interesting And they have been packing my stuff But I haven't gone just yet And they're trying to sell my books to scare me out But I'm not leaving town And do you mind? No I don't mind If they pay me back Oh but if not well that's too bad I'll just hang around And all my friends have left town Got jobs or simply went around And I've been making drawings of the streets Cause what's the use in leaving When you can spend your time dreaming of the worst And the best times that could be And they have been packing my stuff But I haven't gone just yet And they're trying to sell my books to scare me out But I'm not leaving town And do you mind?
