When I Follow Jesus

I want to know and follow Jesus And be like Him each day He is always there to strengthen me In all I do and say I can watch and follow In His footsteps I'll know just what to do As I learn about the things He did Then go and do them too When I follow Jesus And I try to do my part I will feel His special love for me Each day inside my heart And when I follow Jesus He will show me who I am I will know my worth and be assured that Jesus is my friend I want Jesus to know I love Him As He sees what I do I will share the message of His life So my friends can follow too We can all show others Love and kindness As we go on our way Treating others as the Savior did Will get us back to Him one day When I follow Jesus And I try to do my part I will feel His special love for me Each day inside my heart And when I follow Jesus He will show me who I am I will know my worth and be assured That Jesus is my friend As my friend He'll always Be right there beside me He will help me when I need Him And will comfort me When I follow Jesus And I try to do my part I will feel His special love for me Each day inside my heart And when I follow Jesus He will show me who I am I will know my worth and be assured That Jesus is my friend Yes I will follow Him
