What We're Doing Tonight

It's a quiet kind of chaos living in this palace No more wonder to be found inside this land of alice There's no question im certain there's love in this house It's just that we've left, the nicest room for doubt you wanna go out, I just wanna stay in w don't bother check in, no phone and no texting you come back drunk and sick and vexed and spoiling for a fight come the morning come the morning everything alright that's our routine, that's our play morning evening night and day that's our mood that's our fabric, our colours circle this drain and it is gravy sunny days but then our ways turn dour Quite frankly I've felt lately this lemonade is too sour I wanna say something nice but I just makes everything worse cuz you can tell that's it's forced, and the thought of it what hurts We know there's love sometimes love is tough and fact is sometimes love is not enough One step forward and another step on to the side that's all that we're doing tonight This flat too small for us to be having borders I just wanna say I'm sorry, but my pride given me strict orders to be honest, I just tired of silence as a weapon I know you're a good person maybe you're not my person Maybe we were just diversions, on our path to better passions not all loves are destinations, some are just excursions but then we cuddle on the couch, as the worlds spins about feels like our palace has evicted all doubt.
