They took you away from you Beautiful as you were And those paintings of your words Could turn a backwards world around You were running from the heartbreak And fell into the worst fate They could have helped you more It must have been a mistake But they covered up for their sake Yet they hover at your door Dark nights in the white cell Institutionalised hell And that's where the angel fell Labelled unwell And they diminished her light But they don't even know about love About peace About everything in between No they don't know the heart Or the soul What's it like to be so cold?
