6am, cup of tea Head is throbbing, look at me 6am, hit the shower Get the kids up in half an hour 6am, thought of you 3 glasses of wine, and then we're through What the hell am I gonna do Got so many little things to do 7am, brush my teeth Get the kids dressed, rinse repeat 7:30, start the car Drop the kids off, what a star! 8am, go to work Look the part, smile and smirk End of shift, I'm feeling beat Back tomorrow, rinse repeat And I don't wanna spend my days Living in a numbness haze Tell me this is not a phase And life can't be this over yet Am I really too old or is this mind set?
