I am a silent storm This fortress Eroding from years of silent tears I am a waning moon The dark overcast Blanket this restless soul in stillness And quiet I am giving And at times forgiven Penitence is as rare as diamonds Common, yet controlled If they never utter a plea I will still show mercy If they never truly regret what they've done, what can I do As is every battle won in my mind Is fraught with scars in my heart Still beating And never callous Valiance is what makes this greatness A courage most cannot afford But I live for every wretched moment Forging ahead in this battle To fill the vast emptiness of my inner universe The eye of this storm is silent And is craving For peace
