Stasis Has turned into one of my new faces Don't tell me I'm wasted I'm just trying to figure out what's mine It's slowed down I feel my world grind to a halt now And I'm just waiting til I know how Not to live in rewind The kid would dream enough for a million, now dreamer's kidding himself Just a civilian, swallowed up by the city and I'm trying to break the loop Cause time is all relative, I've been sitting by just chewing another sedative Letting moments fly, I don't mind repetitive Yeah that's my excuse Oh Lost in space, floating 'round the same old place Lately I've been losing pace I think I lost the human race cause I stopped running Out of time, stumbling to find a sign Miles behind the finish line Me, myself and this stasis of mine Hold it Til I can find a way to control this way of thinking that the worst is gonna happen every time Guess I just need an excuse So cut me loose Time is running out think I need a shot of adrenaline, hurry before I settle in Cause you know it's always better when I don't stop to breathe Or give me more time even if it's just a lie Cause you know it's always better in my mind And I still believe, I'm Lost in space, floating round the same old place Lately I've been losing pace I think I lost the human race cause I stopped running Out of time, stumbling to find a sign Miles behind the finish line Me, myself and this stasis of mine I've been living in stasis, feel so disconnected from the world it's like I'm living on a spaceship Each day the same shit, we out here trying to get famous but time is moving and I haven't made it I thought by now I'd be spelling my name in lights Don't know how but it felt like something changed Now I feel like I'm seeing it pass me by, living a minor life Dreaming while I'm stuck here at a 9 to 5 Possibility sustains so don't take it from me Lost ability I'm strained thought I'd keep on running No I really can't explain why I'm feeling funny Sitting here covered in doubt, fucking around, now that I'm out of money Too busy searching for the remedy Or too scared of the possibility that this just wasn't meant for me Losing track of time, pretending it's fine but all these feelings are mine When will the stars align?
