I am young, I feel old I've Got a lot to learn, but I know what I know So much different than I was Just a year ago I'm a cautionary tale But I will inspire you to grow And I've still got a long Long way to go Somewhere in between before my time and waiting too late I am Saying hello to 28 Slowing down taking time And I'm Finding a steady peace of mind Just Trying my best to stay aligned Having healthy boundaries Learning how to give my body what it needs And how to take full accountability And I'm Getting to be comfortable with being overweight I am Saying hello to 28 I am taking every risk Gonna take my time to really really live I'm finding out that life is what you make it I'm holding on to my dreams Because I believe in me How much I can achieve Is how much I can perceive But no one ever said it would be easy I'm being optimistic, all while figuring my faith I am Saying hello to 28
