Not Who I Was

It took so long until the time came Will I look back and see greater days? I keep on feeling I have not changed but When I look back I'm not who I was Feeling too young to be this old I'm still learning how to not explode Dad said go running or something physical It helps the mind when you've lost control I'd fantasize of a girl I didn't know Myself she's never felt this close I guess that makes it feel more realistic Last year I told me I'd never see it I think I'm ready to drive new roads If the world breaks me, I'll go back home Upstairs to my room where I played guitar For now I'm off to a brand new start
