Honestly

I swear that I mean well, though I know that on the outside you can't tell I want to be the only one that you call yours, but sometimes I want something more Because I'm going through the motions, trying to hide all my emotions Trying to swim through a sea of bodies Because you're not supposed to care at all, so you don't get hurt so you don't fall At least that's what they tell me Honestly I don't need anyone but me, cause I know I am happier, happier and life is easy No I don't need anybody now, because I know I am strong I'll run longer without you dragging me down, honestly I know you think you've got this thing on lock But don't be shocked when they're lined up around the block See I decided a long long time ago That I'm done with games being good and taking things slow And I'm doing what I want, I'm gonna give up all I've got Because I'm done trying to find someone real I'm just in it for the fun, no longer scared you're gonna run, stone cold and I can't feel Honestly I don't need anyone but me, cause I know I am happier, happier and life is easy No I don't need anybody now, because I know I am strong I'll run longer without you dragging me down, honestly
