A STORY OF FALLEN LOVERS

The heart is the place where love resides But for some odd reason this strange love Started in the mind As the two lovers both had different views Leading to overthinking He, afraid to love and afraid to be loved And her, looking for someone who could possibly be her forever The love was to a certain extent forbidden They weren't supposed to feel this way But with those different views The boy who was afraid ended up finding a muse Pause He wrote about her Thought about her Dreamt about her It was so deep At one point he thought he couldn't live without her and he couldn't He would rather die than let go so he didn't Faith growing and patience showing, Pride dying but never tired of trying The path to love has many different routes She took another route Leading her into the arms of someone else Pause What a twist I guess it's true when they say ignorance is bliss He now going insane Not knowing how to deal with the pain But the pain didn't kill him, he survived cause faith was what was keeping him alive Faith that one day she'll run back into his arms His mind telling him to move on His heart telling him to stay Conflict within him Time passed by and one day she talks to him Him shocked being they haven't spoken in long the more they spoke He told her he wrote her a song He played it for her And the song played its way back into her heart, the song was like a flashlight To the boy who feels he had been left in the dark That light growing stronger and brighter The boy changing from a lover to a fighter Cause he knew she was worth fighting for so he did, a true battle You could say it was a love war Knowing that if this battle left him lovesick There would be no cure But he still had faith And now his intentions pure No one really knows how the battle ended, whether it was a win or lose But I knew he would but all his resources to use love, hate, jealousy, anger and betrayal All flying across his mind Buh he knew that if he didn't fight He would run out of time And his biggest fear was losing his chance Cause if he could He'd grad her hand underneath the moonlight And as her to dance Look at her and say it is you that I miss And on her forehead not her lips He would give her a kiss Maybe one day we will know If the love died Or if it continued to grow
