Subtle Differences

I am an American, I like to watch the football My friends are all Australian, and they think I mean soccer I live in California, we have lots of little critters My friends are from Australia, where spiders loudly skitter I am from America, I enjoy hamburgers My Aussie friends like Vegemite, and calling people C-words I live in Los Angeles, a dense packed urban sprawl But in the Aussie Outback, there's not much built at all As a devout Yankee, I'm a fan of freedom But my Aussie friends just don't seem to agree though I believe in liberty and justice for all men They believe in Celsius, and driving on the left In the US of A, we're all free to do things But head out to Australia, and they can't even shoot me At least back in America, we're not all weakling snowflakes Meanwhile the Australians don't let people own AKs It's clear that they're brainwashed by their politicians blabbing And did you know that without guns there was a rise in stabbings They have no AR-15s and they think it makes them cool They act so high and mighty when their kids come home from school I am an American, I exercise my rights Why would I bring a knife when I'm constantly in gunfights I live in America, where murder's patriotic My friends are all Australian, and they think that we've lost it
