I Remember

I remember I was way down I was outside in the rain, I ain't even have a coat And my soul it was weighed down I suffered from a lot of pain, most people didn't know Lord knows, I couldn't pray loud Cause my sins had me silent like they had me by throat I had to Hulk just to break out, now listen careful what I say now I was out here moving loco like everyday Like I didn't have a code to follow, wait Like this path of right I never chose, I disobeyed Only thinking how to please my soul, had selfish ways Everything I did was wrong Breaking Torah, I condoned Sinful nature I had honed Since I'm speaking of nature like smoking on wood, I was high all in my dome My sense of right was gone, yeah Heart beat turned cold, every action I took was froze, yeah Ulquiorra, black soul, is how I spun around the globe like hours, time Any second, could've blown like a timer on bomb Casualties, they would've been known then blood on my hands, charged right on my soul God is looking and watching and watching and looking to make sure He perform His word, never slacking I don't wanna be caught slacking or lacking or hiding my talents when I could be bagging And as the quaters of the year be passing, seasons change but my pockets steady be blastin' Just like a rocket, I'm shooting for buckets like beeline to Houston in Texas Yeah, the scriptures say "love your neighbour like yourself" But in order to do that you have to first love yourself so I had to put away the hate of myself And start keeping God's commandments to regain my health And man that's perfect love in it's purest form You can't get no closer to the source like flying towards the Sun Like Superman, I have an "S" on my chest and that "S" stands for "stationary" in His hope, I'm super formed I remember when I first came in this truth I remember I ain't have nothin' else to lose I remember I would study every day and night I remember if I broke a law then I would I cry I remember every word that I spoke and even alone I chose to let His oracles flow, yeah I remember how I fell away, I remember everyday was just hellish day, yeah I remember, I remember How I settled in those embers Now I'm better, I'm releveled Like the Phoenix, my ashes they rekindled I remember, yeah, yeah I remember, yeah, yeah
