I Almost

I don been so caught up on the goal that I don lost the road I don went from someone that was known to someone that you know I been done with asking for a loan whenever I get low Cuz every person I helped go and grow don't seem to ever show And every opportunity I see is one I really need Every word I let out when I speak is what I really mean Every time I say I'll never leave there ain't no in between Maybe you got caught up in the dream and saw some different things Lately I been stuck on who I am and if I gotta plan Angry cuz I'm looking where I land and looking where I can Since I was a boy I ran to grow up just to be a man Now I'm turned around right where I stand and reaching out a hand Maybe if the time was just in range then I could make a change I could tell myself it's not vain and free him from the pain Yea he may of broke from all the chains but they be leaving stains And most of it would happen either way so it ain't much to gain Opening my heart used to simple I don't know where to start Will they all say they were a part if my name up on the charts And if they do would they all stop and ask me what was the cost Cuz with my luck the chances are it had to tear me apart Stuck on everything I do with different misdirection I been having everything to prove I'm trynna make corrections Miss when I didn't have a thing to lose and wasn't being tested Moments in my life I'm scared to move I can't see where I'm stepping Tortured by the the things I never choose I think I'm finna burst Turn around and blink and something new come through and make it worse But I put a smile right on my face it's other safety first And they can't see the one who's never broken show he break from hurt All these expectations that I get from showing that I cared All these people grateful for the comfort knowing that I'm there Then feel like I wasted all my life and every moments theirs Cuz they don't say a word to me no more they just be showing stares Guess that's just the way that my life go it ain't no make believe Most the things you give to someone else is things you can't receive Worst thing you could ever feel is knowing you're who made 'em leave I Almost made a difference but I didn't But I didn't
