Told everybody that I know that imma be something I know I know Since a youngin I was different I could always see something I know I know yeah I know yeah When you alone don't really know how you 'pose to feel Follow my purpose my dreams are real K-I-D stands for the inner child reveal Everything that I love to do Everything that I had to heal Everything that I had concealed At the time didn't know the deal All the things that I truly am All the things that I want to be Everything that I don't deserve Everything that I'm gone receive Had to learn how to smile again Had to learn how to stay at peace Had to learn how to crawl again Had to learn how to rest in peace Symbolic of the times I needed to rest And even when my soul once died That was the moment I opened my eyes Opportunity I wasn't surprised Had to relearn the meaning to live Cause after that I didn't know what was next After relearning the meaning to live I found Devine my soul was blessed But don't twist it I am not religious Still gotta make decisions on the daily Say they want unity but cause division Saw this as a kid and I thought I'm crazy One plus one equals two and I call a spade a spade so don't try to fade me This my inner child and the energy that come with it Please don't try to hate me Imma be something I know I know Told everybody that I know that imma be something I know I know No need for people validation I believe something I know I know Since a youngin I was different I could always see something I know I know yeah I know yeah We wasn't growing up smiling And through the tough days we still had to find it Feeling I'm on a island Spreading my wings as I learn to fly it's Crazy cause I am the pilot This is my inner child I know the mileage This is inner child know where to find it This is inner child know where to find it You be wanting everybody to win but they don't be wanting the same for you You don't even need that cause you got a superpower and it's beautiful So love what you got and keep it true to what you represent yeah it's cool Cause many will end up outside themselves and maybe end up on the news That's not too much to worry about just keep it in mind acknowledging it Seeing how everything works time and time again it's hard to forget.
