An Apology Letter

Don't doubt yourself You are who He says you are Thank you Jesus for saving this crook All bars no hook To the girl I use to know cuz I'm not trying to know no more Leaving every part of you behind on that lonely road Disappearing from that life it's about time I make it right You battled many things you just never were suppose to fight You had God who would've saved you if you only gave your way up That same Gods here today saying I've paved another way love Let it go let time show you were always made for more Let it go push for growth what's for you is already yours No more sweating stop regretting It's behind not where you're heading Pain gon' come with what you're shedding It's gon' take what old you is dreading Let it burn time will show you'll reap a harvest what you sow Let it burn lil more what was lost God will restore Took a lot for me to get here A lot of scars cuz my own fears Switchin up not trying to stay there Thank the Lord cuz he stayed near Yeah and every battle fought I done brought upon myself And every time I cried to the Lord he was there to help It's only right I gave him my life so I could find it Instead of saving it for myself so I could lose it I was losing I was choosing I was stagnant I was fooling Living in sin is what caused all my bruising I'm sorry for the shame I'm sorry I'd go astray I'm sorry I caused you pain and took me so long to change Your Spirit came untied me from the grips of my strongholds If I never wanted freedom there'd be nothing left to hold Plenty of times I could of died Plenty of times I believed the lies No matter how dark the night I always held to the light That's why I give you my life as a living sacrifice You gave a second chance so I could finally get it right I thank you for the pain I thank you for the grace I'm thankful for your mercy and never turning your face Now I'm picking up my cross so I could win this race With you on my side I could face another day I just want to say sorry Lord I just want to say thank you Thank you for saving me from me
